Our approach to physical development is based on the concept of movement practice, drawing on techniques, principles, drills and perspectives from an array of different disciplines and implementing them with the underlying intention of improving our experience of being in a body. We offer four main class types:
1. Strength: developing serious bodyweight strength and resilience throughout the body (Mon 6pm, Wed 6am, Fri 6am).
2. Handstands: taking adults with zero handbalancing experience toward acquiring 60-second freestanding handstands (Mon 6am, Tue 6pm, Fri 5.30pm).
3. Mobility: permanently increasing range of motion and improving articulation of the hips, shoulders and spine (Tue 7am, Thu 7am, Sun 5pm).
4. Movement: learning increasingly complex movement patterns and throwing ourselves into open movement scenarios with the intention of enjoying and exploring the possibilities of our embodiment (Wed 11am, Wed 6pm, Thu 6pm, Sat 8am).
There are no prerequisites — every class is open to everybody.
